Bybit restricted countries: who is not supported

Use this page to quickly check whether Bybit services may be restricted in your jurisdiction. Restrictions can change, so always confirm via the official policy link.

Educational guide only. Not investment advice. Trading involves risk.

1) What “restricted” means

  • Restrictions can apply to account registration, product access, or specific features depending on your residence/nationality and regulatory requirements.
  • Some regions are fully excluded (no service), while other regions may have product-level limits.
  • When in doubt, verify the official policy and check you are using the correct Bybit domain/app.

2) Service restricted countries/regions (official)

Last checked: January 2026 (Bybit Help Center). This list may change.

  • United States
  • Chinese Mainland
  • Hong Kong
  • Singapore
  • Canada
  • North Korea
  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • Uzbekistan
  • Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine (currently including Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk)
  • Sevastopol
  • Sudan
  • Syria

3) EU/EEA note (Bybit EU)

  • If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may be routed to Bybit’s EU flow/platform and may see different eligibility rules for certain services.
  • Some campaigns/events may exclude EEA users. Always check the official notice for your specific feature (e.g., cards).
  • If signup fails, do not retry on random links — verify official sources first and contact support if needed.

4) If you can’t sign up or access features

  1. Confirm you are on the official domain/app. If you arrived from an unknown link, stop and verify.
  2. Check the service restricted list above. If you match an excluded jurisdiction, signup may be blocked.
  3. If you are in the EU/EEA, look for the EU flow/notice. Some services have separate eligibility.
  4. If you believe you should be eligible, contact support and include your country/region and the exact error message.

5) Safety checks before you proceed

  • Use official pages and trusted stores. Avoid “mirror sites” and suspicious download pages.
  • Enable 2FA and anti-phishing as soon as you create an account.
  • Start with small test actions first (login + security setup) before larger funding.
